🌐 As we do not have a public reception centre, most of our activities take place online, except for our participation in community events, as well as the training and awareness sessions for healthcare professionals. We are also represented through the distribution of our information leaflets in and by local organisations. (Who are we?)

Our training

⚕️ We provide free training for doctors on prescribing and monitoring hormone therapy as part of gender transition care. If you are interested, please get in touch or visit our Training page !

Across France

🤝 We work with doctors, allied health professionals, family planning centres and local trans organisations across France. This network enables us to refer trans people to appropriate local services, share information, and coordinate our work to better meet their needs.

Collaborative work

👥 We are members of national and local networks and partnerships, including ExisTransInter, the Trans Health Network (Réseau Santé Trans, ReST), and regional organisations such as the Rouen Sexual Health Network.

Our work

📝 Our activities include:

• providing daily peer support through our Discord server, as well as by email and on social media, and hosting weekly online support and discussion sessions
• maintaining a collaborative map where trans people can share their experiences with healthcare professionals and courts
• creating, translating, compiling and making available resources on gender transition, including information leaflets and practical guides
• providing training for doctors and professionals working in health and social care, engaging in policy advocacy, contributing to academic research, and carrying out a wide range of other initiatives.

Statements & opinion pieces

As an organisation representing and supporting trans and intersex people, we are inherently involved in public debate. In this context, we regularly write and co-sign statements and opinion pieces, which you can find on a dedicated page to learn more about our positions and views.

Fransgenre does not receive any public funding, which allows us to remain fully independent in our work. This also means that we rely entirely on donations from people who wish to support us.
